I amsterdam Card calculator

Important: Since 2022, the I amsterdam Card does not include the Van Gogh Museum or the Anne Frank House. Most competitors and even some tourist offices still list these — they are wrong. Always check the official I amsterdam website before buying.

The I amsterdam Card gives free or discounted entry to 70+ museums and attractions, plus unlimited public transport. Tick the attractions you plan to visit to see if it saves money versus paying individually.

What is included in the I amsterdam Card?

The card covers entry to 70+ attractions including: Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, NEMO Science Museum, Amsterdam Museum, Moco Museum, Heineken Experience, Eye Film Museum, Jewish Historical Museum, Royal Palace Dam Square, ARTIS Royal Zoo, Vondelpark Open-Air Theatre, and many others.

What is NOT included (critical)

  • Van Gogh Museum — excluded since 2022. Costs €22 separately.
  • Anne Frank House — never included. Costs €16 (must book weeks ahead).
  • Keukenhof — separate ticket required.
  • Most canal boat tours — discounted only, not free. Some open-boat operators are free.

Is the card worth it?

The card pays off if you visit 3–4 major included museums within the validity period. If your itinerary centres on Van Gogh and Anne Frank, skip it — you'll pay those on top regardless.

Card prices (2024–2025)

  • 24 hours: €65
  • 48 hours: €85
  • 72 hours: €100
  • 96 hours: €115

Children under 4: free. Ages 4–12: reduced prices apply for many included attractions.
